Tonight we had our first Clarinet Master Class at APU. We had a great time working on intonation, reading clarinet choir pieces, and getting to know one another. I am hoping to open the classes up to more people, if I can check out a larger room!

Our orchestra Sundays have resumed for the fall at Lake Avenue Church in Pasadena! We have a wide variety of styles of music, from traditional orchestral to choral to praise band, all in one service. Come on down and check it out at 9 or 11 am...

Today we met for a dinner with my siblings and family to celebrate my parents 50th wedding anniversary. I was impressed with the food at the Raya restaurant at Ritz Carlton Laguna Niguel, and my parents were pleased to see everyone at one time!
My tip: ask for a table by the window for an ocean view and less noise!
