Today we had final fall Jury performances for the APU Clarinet Studio. It was a pleasure to hear everyone perform and to see how far that they have come on their challenging pieces! Everyone really made music! It was a great way to end the semester...

I had a wonderful time hearing my university students perform Mahler's Symphony #2! It was a terrific collaboration with the entire School of Music, and it was great to hear it all come together...
Larry and I spent the day at the Staples Center at the "Get Motivated" seminar! The speakers were all really great, including Rudy Guiliani, Laura Bush, Lou Holtz, Colin Powell, and Joe Montana.
